This successful and well established independent estate agency with a strong presence in the centre of Surbiton town centre, are looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join their team. The role will be based in their busy office in Surbiton, Surrey. 

To be considered for this role, you do not need previous experience within Lettings or estate agency, but you must be a smart, personable and confident individual with motivation to succeed. A sales, retail or customer focused background would be very beneficial as this company are very professional, with decade’s worth of property experience and strive to provide exceptional service to every client.

The role will include the following:

  • Canvassing New Landlords is a must for this position
  • Accompanied viewings with prospective tenants
  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries from prospective tenants
  • Registering enquiries and arranging appointments
  • Following up enquiries
  • Co-ordinating move-ins
  • Processing payments (deposits + first month’s rent etc)
  • Occasional property inspections when required
  • Working as part of the Lettings team
  • Looking to have a career progression
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary to assist the team

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Happy to take the initiative
  • Confident in dealing with clients
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Good telephone manner
  • Able to multi task and prioritise workload
  • Must have a full UK driving license and own car

The initial salary package for this role will include a basic salary of £14,000 to £16,000 dependent on level of experience and on target earnings in the region of £18,000 to £24,000 dependent on performance. The hours of work will be from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and you will also be required to work some Saturdays.
