Job Description

A brilliant opportunity has become available for a Senior Property Manager to manage an allocated portfolio of properties, providing efficient and accurate administrative and day to day management and deposit release process. This role is for an upmarket and successful estate agency with an excellent reputation throughout London. They are looking for an ambitious and driven individual with property management experience to be based in their City office, London EC1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out various property management tasks as directed on behalf of the Head of Property management
  • To assist the company in the upkeep of policies and procedures to an agreed standard
  • To participate in companywide initiatives both internally and for external clients Property Portfolio
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to required standards.
  • Oversee day to day property maintenance
  • Manage hard and soft copy data and e-mails and ensure all client files are updated
  • Deal with tenants and landlord queries verbally and in written form
  • Manage contractors and invoices
  • Issue and ensure collection of service charge and ground
  • Carry out 6 monthly property visits and report to landlord
  • Ensure insurance claims are being processed efficiently and correctly
  • Have and continually update legal knowledge and understanding of Landlord and tenant act
  • Ensure that fees are issued as and when appropriate for works excluded from the management contract – for example, refurbishments and insurance

Personal Specification:

  • Proven track record within property management
  • Must have highly effective communication and organisational skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be able to work in a pressurised environment
  • Must have time management skills and able to prioritise
  • Good IT skills
  • Full UK driving license

This position will come with a basic salary of £30,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience and the hours of work will be from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
