Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Auctioneer. This is a senior position that will suit an individual who has the experience to head up and run an emerging UK Property Auction House.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum 10 years experience as a property auctioneer/valuer
  • Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Qualified Auctioneer/ Valuer
  • Corporate clientele contacts, for example banks, receivership & recovery agencies, asset management companies, real estate PLCs and housing associations in and around London
  • It would be advantageous if the successful candidate has worked in a reputable London based auction house
  • Highly experienced, with a proven track record gained in the UK Residential and/or Commercial auctions sector
  • A strong belief in productivity, growth, adaptation
  • Forward thinking as an individual

Work activities:

  • Conducting valuations & appraisals of buildings and land to identify any characteristics or factors affecting value
  • Providing realistic valuations of property and providing advice on acquisition, sales or investment
  • Preparing valuation reports
  • Providing information and valuations for businesses or legal organisations to aid dispute resolution, compensation claims or investment queries
  • Running auctions; organising marketing and managing the process i.e auction catalogue, etc.
  • Reporting and liaising with the Managing Director and other senior directors within the organisation

This is a Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm role that will come with a basic salary of £65,000,along with bonuses and full expenses.
