Large estate agencies tend to have their own Auctions Department. The ideal candidate to take on a role within the Auctions side of the business will have previous experience within residential estate agency, along with some Auction’s exposure.
The key elements of the job role will include business development, meeting corporate clients, property inspections, valuations, negotiation, dealing with private and public sellers, preparing the catalogue and attending the auctions. The main purpose of the role is to generate and develop instructions for the Auctions at the best price to achieve a successful sale at the best fee levels.
