This leading Property Investment Company specialises in sourcing discounted and high yielding investment properties in attractive locations for both clients and agents in the UK and overseas. Their investment opportunities include tenanted apartments in the UK, high yielding student pods and hotel pod investments.

The company is now looking to recruit a Sales Manager who will report directly to the directors of the business. The role will involve managing the sales team and generating the monthly sales from inbound leads of property investors from the UK and overseas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, development and management of sales personnel. At the same time he/she will be expected to identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales earnings.

The core functions of the position are:

  • Collaborating with the partners to establish and set the monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
  • Managing the sales team to maximize sales revenues and meet company objectives
  • Establishing and managing effective systems to coach, appraise and train the sales team

The details of the function will be:

  • Daily morning sales meetings
  • Setting targets
  • Training the team on effective email writing
  • Call monitoring
  • CRM Lead Management
  • One to Ones / performance management
  • Sales Team training
  • Product training
  • Reporting feedback to the partners
  • HR management (lateness, sickness, holidays and recruitment)
  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and compliance procedures
  • Liaises with marketing department
  • Liaise with after sales care team

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

  • A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the property investment sector
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team
  • Ability to manage a large sales team of 10-15 people in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of developing marketing and sales strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is required; word, excel, outlook

This position will come with a basic salary in the region of £27,000 to £30,000, along with an uncapped commission/bonus giving expected first year earnings of c. £60,000. There is undoubtedly the scope and opportunity to earn far more in the medium to long term.
