This Estate Agency is a very well established business with offices throughout the south east. They are currently looking to recruit an ambitious Sales and Lettings Negotiator to work in their well-located office in Southsea, Hampshire. This company has a network of local offices so this position could potentially lead to promotion in the near future for the right individual.
The role will involve a great deal of customer facing, so you will need to have excellent people skills as you will be meeting and greeting applicants and registering prospective purchasers and tenants who you will be required to discuss potential properties with, and then accompany on viewing. You will also be actively involved in the negotiation process up to the sale or let.
The company will potentially consider candidates with no previous estate agency experience provided they have a sales or customer services background.
In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent face to face customer service skills
- The motivation to succeed
- Previous sales experience and a sales focused mentality
- Ability to show resilience and to make the most of any opportunity
- Full driving licence essential
This excellent career opportunity will come with a basic salary of £16,000 with an uncapped commission package giving the successful candidate the opportunity to realistically earn £22,000 to £25,000 in your first year. A company car, along with a mobile phone, will also be provided along with other benefits. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.30pm and 3 out of 4 Saturdays, 9.00am to 4.00pm. when you work a Saturday you will get a day off in lieu during the week.
