This company is a leading London Estate Agency with a strong presence throughout the city. Due to the ongoing success of the business, and their ever increasing portfolio under management, they are looking to increase their staffing levels within their Renewals Department based in Acton, London W3.

This vacancy is for a Renewals Consultant and the objectives of this role are:

  • To represent the company in a highly professional manner, ensuring that all landlords and tenants are dealt within a professional, timely, honest and well-mannered fashion using outstanding customer care skills
  • To ensure landlords are achieving the best possible price upon renewal in line with the current market value for their investments
  • To ensure that all targets are met.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, hard working and a strong team player who thrives in challenging roles and work well under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and problem solving techniques are required. Occasionally flexible working hours will be required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent the company in all aspects of the working environment, showing dedication, professionalism and honesty
  • Approach Landlords and Tenants 2-3 months in advance allowing enough time to secure the renewal
  • Have a good understanding of the market value to be able to advise pricing for all properties throughout London
  • To negotiate and provide evidence (comparable, best price guide) to both Landlord and Tenant
  • Maintain regular and effective communication between both parties
  • Ensure smooth communication across departments
  • Provide clients with exceptional support and customer service throughout the renewal process and make sure to  satisfy their expectations as much as possible
  • Follow all standard operating procedures in place
  • Keep up strong teamwork
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed, received and signed before the renewal’s start date
  • Actively support and motivate the team members in achieving the highest levels of customer service feedback from clients, customers and colleagues
  • Manage, maintain and develop relationships with both Landlords and Tenants
  • Look for new business opportunities

Skills required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels via telephone, letter, e-mail and in person
  • Experience of dealing with customers in any service sector would be beneficial
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong member in the team
  • Exceptional understanding of the company core values and vision
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-tasking, and manage time to meet strict deadlines
  • Commitment to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Self-motivation with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • A professional, positive, ambitious and enthusiastic approach
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy, including Word, Microsoft Outlook and Excel

The salary on offer for this role will depend upon the level of experience and ability of the individual, but is likely to range from £17,000 to £18,000 dependent on experience. It is a Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm role, and 25 days holiday are offered.
