Job Description

Our client is a successful property business with residential properties in West and North-West London which it lets on assured short-hold tenancies.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced and commercially minded residential Property Portfolio Manager to manage the day to day running of the properties. The ideal candidate will combine experience of letting properties with the organisation of the continued maintenance and upkeep of the property portfolio.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Organising routine and exceptional maintenance of the properties, instructing and liaising with relevant contractors
  • Instructing estate agents to market the properties to find new tenants and managing the relationship with all estate agents
  • Being the first point of contact for tenants, both at the beginning and throughout the tenancies
  • Advertising the properties directly from time to time to potential new tenants
  • Maintaining records relating to the properties, including rental agreements, agreements with utilities providers etc., but supported by a finance professional
  • Invoicing for rental payments or other payments and ensuring payment is made by tenants
  • Traveling to properties to view maintenance works, potential clients and periodic review of properties
Personal specification:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of managing a portfolio of residential properties/lettings agent.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Problem solver and practical thinker
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Professional manner
  • Keeps calm under pressure
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Possess great attention to detail
  • Very familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Able to multi-task, prioritise, manage time and workload effectively
  • Can work on own initiative
  • Full UK driving licence and own car.

The salary on offer will be in the region of £28,000 to £35,000 plus a bonus incentive. Benefits include 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and company pension.
