Job Description

This well-respected, privately-owned estate agency is currently looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to work with their successful Lettings & Management team in their office in Pinner, Middlesex. Reporting directly in to the Senior Property Manager your main purpose will be to resolve issues raised by landlords and tenants quickly and effectively whilst at the same time providing a high level of client care when dealing with both landlords and tenants to encourage recommendations and repeat business.

The key tasks and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing approximately 50% of the managed property portfolio, to include:
    • Preparation of inventories
    • Attending check-ins and take tenants through the tenant information brochure to set expectations
    • Undertaking property inspections and advising the clients of any required works
    • Ensuring gas, PAT and electrical checks are undertaken together with any remedial works
    • Co-ordinating matters between landlords and tenants, e.g. maintenance and major works
    • Dealing with check-outs
    • Liaising with accounts department in relation to the return of deposit and disputes
    • Liaising with accounts department and tenants and landlords regarding rent arrears
    • Serving compliant notices
    • Undertaking rent reviews and renewals
    • Dealing with complaints in accordance with procedure
    • Providing clients with professional advice and ensuring their properties are compliant and in good repair.


  • Sourcing new clients and then exceeding their expectations
  • Working with existing landlords to increase their portfolios
  • Converting let only / let and rent collection landlords to fully managed


Qualifications and experience required:

  • Preferably ARLA qualified (to level 3)
  • 3 years property management experience
  • Well-spoken with strong interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Proactive and helpful approach
  • Flexible, adaptable nature
  • IT literate
  • Experience of working with software databases
  • Clean driving licence

The salary and package will include:

  • Basic salary of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • Company car or car allowance up to £250pm
  • Annual Leave of 20 (increasing to 25 days with length of service)
  • Additional 2 days annual leave provided for Christmas period
