Finders Keepers is a family-run, independent property letting and management agent with eight offices in Oxfordshire. The company has a strong presence and market share in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area, and has an excellent reputation.

Re-defining the concept of ‘full-service letting agent’, Finders Keepers offer letting and property management, a dedicated student letting office, property investment and acquisition, building, renovation and project management and furnishing, interior design and house doctor.

To meet planned expansion of their management team, a rare opportunity has arisen and the company is seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy:

Office Manager – Oxfordshire

This individual will have complete responsibility for developing and managing the office with the primary objective to increases business levels, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction by directing and managing all letting and property management activities in the branch.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • Direct day-to-day operations of the office to ensure effective cover and high level of customer service is maintained
  • Communicating effectively with other Office Managers and Directors by sharing information on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
  • Managing and coaching all staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
  • Nurturing and developing new business opportunities and contacts within local business community to facilitate letting and growth of the portfolio
  • Monitoring the performance of the letting function and taking remedial action where necessary to ensure that letting targets are met
  • Managing the performance of the property management function to ensure effective cover and high level of customer service is maintained
  • Monitoring competitors to ensure that the office maintains and develops its competitive position in the local market
  • Specific responsibility to develop a plan and strategy to attract new landlords and properties
  • Controlling the budget for the office to ensure that all financial targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place
  • Producing annual departmental budgets and monthly statistics

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Minimum three years property related office management experience
  • Property management and letting experience
  • Proven planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • A wide knowledge of the industry
  • A high level of commercial awareness
  • Proven leadership skills and man management experience
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
  • Strong legal knowledge via NFOPP Technical Award or Diploma qualification
  • Impressive record of achieving targets

This exciting opportunity comes with the following salary and benefits:

  • An extremely competitive basic starting salary of c. £38,000 – 40,000
  • Uncapped annual bonus paid on results of the office and own performance – on target earnings of c. £60,000
  • Very generous employers pension contribution

  • Death in service insurance – x 4 base salary
