Herefordshire
Herefordshire is a county in the West Midlands of England. It borders Shropshire to the north, Worcestershire to the east, Gloucestershire to the south-east, and the Welsh counties of Powys and Monmouthshire to the west. Hereford is a cathedral city and is the county town; and it is also the largest settlement.
Herefordshire as a county is ‘unspoiled’. It is full of medieval castles and Herefords trade-mark black and white half-timbered houses in almost every village and town. These rustic old buildings go back to Tudor times or perhaps even further. The county also offers some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK, with breath-taking views and natural features.
Property prices in Herefordshire are higher than much of the West Midlands. Many houses in the region have been lived in by the same family for generations. As an estate agency you will be dealing with pretty country cottages and Tudor houses and can expect to work for a corporate or independent estate agency in one of the villages or towns.
