Dorset is a county in South West England on the English Channel coast. Over half the county is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The majority of its coastline is part of the Jurassic Coast Natural World Heritage Site due to its geological and palaeontological significance. It features incredible landforms such as Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Chesil Beach and the Isle of Portland.

Around half of the population lives in the South East Dorset conurbation, while the rest of the county is largely rural with a low population density.

As an Estate Agent in Dorset, you will quickly find that there is a high demand for properties with coastal views and just a short walk/drive to the beach. However, due to the popularity of these properties’, buyers are having to look more inland as well. Dorset is home to a mix of larger corporate estate agencies and independents in the town centres and high streets.
