Job Description

Well-regarded, privately owned estate agency with offices in central/west London is keen to recruit a Lettings Negotiator to strengthen the team in their Notting Hill office. They deal primarily within the middle to upper end of the market, so you should have both the maturity and background to be effective in such a sector.

Ideally, you will have had a minimum of 12-18 months experience, though the company is prepared to consider someone with no previous estate agency experience. If that is the case you will, however, need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, be very confident, ambitious and hungry for success. Any previous sales or customer facing experience would also be beneficial as would the ability to deal with high net worth individuals.

Your tasks will include:

  • Registering prospective tenants
  • Arranging and accompanying them on viewings
  • Gaining feedback following viewings
  • Feed back to landlords
  • Negotiation between tenants and landlords
  • Lease agreements
  • General administration and office work

You will be paid a basic salary of £16,000 to £20,000 according to your level of experience, an attractive personal commission structure giving you on target earnings of £40,000 to £50,000. You will also have access to a pool car. This is a strong professional estate agency with a small network of offices in the area where they are looking to expand so there will be realistic opportunities for career progression. You will be expected to work from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and one in three or four Saturdays.
