An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual looking to commence a career in estate agency, and in particular in Residential Lettings. This exciting and rewarding position is with one of the market-leading estate agencies in Richmond, Surrey. The career opportunities and earning potential are both fantastic.
With an already high profile and enviable market share in the area, they now have a vacancy for an additional Lettings Negotiator to join them. Whilst some estate agency experience would be beneficial, it is by no means essential as our client is more than happy to consider someone looking to break into this field.
Any previous sales or customer facing experience would be advantageous, though the most important attributes required are focus, personality, and communication skills. This is a very busy office so the successful candidate should also be well organised, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Your tasks will include:
- Registering prospective tenants
- Arranging and accompanying them on viewings
- Gaining feedback following viewings
- Feed back to landlords
- Negotiation between tenants and landlords
- Lease agreements
- General administration and office work.
- Excellent communication skills – verbally and written
- Confident and professional
- Outgoing personality
- Sales mentality
- Previous experience within a sales or customer focused background essential
- Full UK driving license.
This position comes with a basic salary of £16,000, a car allowance and an attractive commission structure enabling the incumbent to earn £30,000-£40,000 in the first year. You will be expected to work every other Saturday.
