Our client is an independent, owner-managed estate agency focused entirely on South-West London. Wanting to move away from the corporate world of high street estate agency, the directors have created a local company that offers an online service alongside a traditional estate agency service. Being keen to be part of the local community and on hand for their customers, they are based in the heart of the village, but they have a shop front with a difference as, refreshingly, you wouldn’t know they were an estate agency from the outside!

Based in Southfields, they offer a range of sales and lettings services to suit any budget. Although the company is relatively new, they have done exceptional levels of business to date and are already the number one agent in the local area. The directors also appreciate that the success of their brand will be measured by their reputation through customer satisfaction and recommendations, and they work tirelessly to satisfy their clients’ core needs.

They currently have an excellent opportunity for a Lettings professional to head up their Lettings Department. To be considered for this role, you should have had at least 3 years’ experience within lettings and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success. Our client is very flexible about how much experience the successful incumbent will have and would happily consider a frustrated senior lettings negotiator looking for the next step up the career ladder, or alternatively someone more senior looking to join a company who could potentially offer a genuine partnership opportunity. You will, however, need to be a natural leader who can develop a successful department, driving business forward.

Personal specification:
  • Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation
  • Have local area knowledge
  • ARLA/NFoPP qualification would be advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence and own car.

Due to the flexible attitude of our client, the salary on offer will very much depend on the level of experience and ability you can offer, but the directors are prepared to offer an attractive and competitive package in the region of £40,000 to £50,000. There will be a guarantee of £30,000 to £40,000.
