Job Description

This very well established Oxford estate agency is looking to recruit a highly professional Lettings Co-ordinator for their busy Lettings department in Oxford. To be considered for this role, you will need to be an organised individual who ideally would have previous experience as an Administrator and preferably within the property industry. However, if you do not have experience within property, they will consider an individual with previous roles in sales or customer service.

The role will initially be a Lettings Co-ordinator but in the future develop and become a Negotiator role therefore an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a varied role and quick progression within the property industry.

Key tasks:

  • To actively participate in office meetings
  • Assist with letting and renewal of all new and existing properties in accordance with the companies standards
  • Organise marketing of properties (including brochures) in co-ordination with the Lettings Negotiator and Lettings Manager
  • To ensure all letting systems and procedures are complied with
  • Assist with regular collation of branch performance figures
  • Ensure signed terms of business, instructions and property questionnaires are fully completed, signed and returned by every landlord
  • Qualify and register applicants and potential landlords
  • Maintain the office window and wall displays with up to date and appropriate properties and window cards
  • To answer telephone queries and greet visitors as necessary
  • Incoming and outgoing post to be dealt with each morning accurately
  • Keeping stationary cupboard stocked and tidy
  • Report office maintenance issues to the Property Manager
  • Ensure office equipment is maintained
  • Prepare paperwork for renewals
  • Conduct viewings (when required)
  • Support all members of the Lettings Branch Team when necessary
  • To achieve individual and team targets

This position will pay a basic salary of at least £18,000 to £20,000, depending on your level of experience. The hours of work will be from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
