Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced administrator for their busy lettings department. Based in their busy Wapping office, the ideal candidate will be well presented and spoken with an excellent telephone manner, attention to detail is of the highest importance. Your duties will include:

General secretarial duties:

  • Typing correspondence, reports, property particulars and contracts
  • Ensuring all documentation is in-line with company policy re formatting, letterhead etc
  • Organising mail outs and flyer distribution
  • Diary management

General administration duties:

  • Ordering stationery
  • Filing
  • Ensuring the office is kept tidy
  • Collecting, photocopying and filing invoices for branch
  • Opening and distributing external post
  • Using and refilling the franking machine
  • Creating invoices
  • Holiday co-ordination for office

Agency related duties:

  • Placing adverts and ensuring the details are kept up-to-date (websites, window cards, etc)
  • Arranging photographers to go into properties, take photos, floor plans, EPC’s etc.
  • Produce property brochures
  • Creating window cards
  • Conversing with clients, telephone and face-to-face
  • Arranging viewings
  • Collecting and tagging up keys
  • Creating and maintaining files and folders
  • Managing direct mail list for the team/office
  • Meeting and greeting clients and applicants, registering details, providing information on properties and the local area
  • Organising events for the office
  • Occasional viewings as required

  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload
  • Computer literate to an intermediate standard in both Microsoft word and excel

Previous experience within lettings would be preferred, but candidates within similar experience in other industries will be considered. The salary on offer for this role is £23,000, and this is a Monday to Friday role.
