An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual looking to commence a career in estate agency, and in particular in residential sales rather than lettings. This exciting and rewarding position is with one of the leading privately owned estate agencies in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The company has a very high profile and an excellent market share in the area. They currently have a vacancy for a Residential Sales Negotiator to join them, and whilst some estate agency experience would be beneficial, it is by no means essential as our client is more than happy to consider someone looking to break into this field.
Any previous sales or customer facing experience would be advantageous, though the most important attributes required are focus, personality, drive and strong communication skills. This is a very busy office so the successful candidate should also be well organised, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
The role will involve:
- Registering potential purchaser
- Identifying their need
- Arranging and accompanying them on viewings at properties for sale
- Gaining feedback from the purchaser and giving this to the vendors
- Negotiating offers and trying to complete sales
- Progressing sales through to completion
- Keeping in touch with purchasers and vendors on a regular basis
- General office administration
This position comes with a basic salary of £12-14,000, a car allowance and an attractive commission structure enabling the incumbent to earn £25-30,000 in his/her first year. You would be expected to work every other Saturday on a rota basis.
