Job Description

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced estate agent to run a group of 4 or 5 offices in west London. To be considered for this senior career opportunity, you must have had some multi-branch estate agency experience, have strong leadership and business development skills, and the ability to recruit and motivate a team of high achievers.

The main purpose of the role will be to assist in delivering business strategies and priorities, to meet targeted revenue, profit and results across all disciplines and to work closely with the company directors and the teams to ensure the company is efficient and effective.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Day to day input and control of core business objectives as discussed with the directors on a weekly basis
  • Assist in generating targeted revenue and profits
  • Able to fully understand and influence the P&L position and to use that knowledge to manage performance
  • Driving daily results with the branches
  • Driving conveyancing sales to meet pre agreed penetration targets
  • Driving mortgage appointments by branch to target
  • Supporting, motivating and developing the branch teams
  • Pipeline control to achieve a 100% pipeline conversion
  • Running weekly/monthly sales-focused regional meetings
  • Running monthly negotiator training meetings
  • Dealing with New Homes clients and managing relationships
  • Responsibility for recruitment, training and retention of staff
  • Assist in the training of new starters at all levels, ensuring they are adding value to the business at the earliest possible stage
  • To develop the strength in depth of the team through observation and feedback
  • To ensure that agreed company systems and procedures are understood and implemented at branch level
  • To ensure all company policies are adhered to including Health & Safety
  • To create a strong culture within their span of control with particular reference to a “joined up approach” between Sales, Lettings and Financial Services
  • To ensure through efficient diary and holiday planning that an appropriate number of staff are available at all times to allow for successful trading
  • To assist in running training modules as requested
  • Responsibility for delivering a performance management culture at all levels within their span of control
  • Positive integration of new staff into the group’s culture
  • Troubleshooting in branches when required adopting a hands-on approach
  • Strategising for ongoing business development which includes producing a monthly report overview of each branch
  • Implementing and driving agreed marketing plans within the branches
  • Assisting branches by generating fresh strategies to secure new business
  • Supporting the brand and working with the teams to ensure the company is maximising its exposure in the marketplace and building market share
  • Ensuring the business trades in a compliant manner at all times
  • Conducting 1:1 performance appraisals with sales teams when required

This exciting opportunity will be paying a substantial basic salary and a commission structure that will enable you to earn c. £80,000 to £100,000 based on current performance, along with a quality company car/allowance and all the usual benefits commensurate with a role of this seniority.
