Job Description

This Private Family Office is recruiting for a Portfolio Manager to join the team at its primely located office in Mayfair.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience within Property Management, both residential and commercial portfolios. The role will involve managing a portfolio of high-end properties including private households, residential lettings and commercial buildings; therefore, previous experience dealing with high-end clientele and properties within central London is essential.

The role also involves supporting clients with private PA duties and ensuring the operational efficiency of the office. To be considered for this position you should be highly organised, articulate and immaculately presented.

Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Undertaking regular site inspections
  • Receiving owner directions, instructing contractors, obtaining quotations and organising works
  • Maintaining the contracts spreadsheet across the portfolio
  • Maintaining property insurance
  • Reviewing Health and Safety documentation and ensuring recommended actions are completed
  • Dealing with utilities suppliers and local authorities for general queries
  • Maintaining the electronic and paper filing system
  • Scanning all expense invoices to accounts for payment
  • Instructing contractors, obtaining/chasing quotations and organising works
  • Reporting on expenses, maintain budget, request funds, pay all invoices

  • Bank reconciliation.
Personal specification:
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • First-class customer service skills
  • Sound knowledge of relevant guidelines, regulations, procedures, and legislation within residential property management
  • Experience and demonstrated ability in dispute resolution and creative problem-solving skills
  • IT literate
  • Team player
  • Full UK driving licence.

The salary package for this role will be £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on previous experience.
