This highly regarded firm of Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors is looking to recruit a Lettings Co-ordinator to support their busy Lettings & Property Management Department in the smooth running of the office, and to assist in growing and developing the business plan objectives. This opportunity is based in their Summertown Office in Oxford, but the company also has a successful network of offices throughout London and the country.

The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar role for another estate agency, but our client will consider a graduate with excellent administration skills.

The main tasks are:

  • Being responsible for managing tenancy renewals and negotiating rent increases
  • Providing correct advice to clients on rent levels
  • Drawing up of new tenancies
  • Preparing internet listings
  • Taking and dealing with general daily telephone enquiries and booking viewings
  • Being conversant with the laws on residential tenancies
  • Liaising with clients throughout the renewal process
  • Recording of statistics
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc co-ordination/administration requirements


Skills & Competencies:

  • A professional manner and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong administrative, computer and organisational skills
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • The ability to take the initiative in a confident and personable manner
  • Numerate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of CFP Winman or Reapit Letting system would be an advantage, though not essential
  • Knowledge and experience of working in property, preferably the residential market would be highly desirable, but not essential

The package on offer for this role will very much depend on the level of relevant experience and ability of the successful candidate, but will be in the range of £18,000 to £25,000. This is a Monday to Friday role.
