Our client currently has a position available for a Finance Administrator to work in their accounts team based in Pinner.

The successful candidate will be required to assist with some sales and purchase ledger tasks. Previous accounting experience is not necessary however, Lettings experience would be beneficial as would knowledge of Veco and/or Sage.

On the lettings side of the business, you will be responsible for:
  • Updating client and tenant bank accounts using online banking and our Lettings accounting system, Veco
  • Allocating funds received and investigating any unidentified receipts
  • Initiating payments of rents to Landlords, and sending out statements
  • Raising and sending out tenant demands
  • Paying suppliers and ensuring remittance advices’ are emailed
  • Reviewing works orders and raising invoices
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Chasing outstanding rents and fees
  • Handling landlord and tenant queries, by phone or email.
On the Company accounts side, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing sales ledger onto Sage
  • Updating Sage & and the Sales software with receipt of funds from vendors and solicitors
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Assisting with purchase ledger processing and payments.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
  • Strong typing and computer skills speed
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Professional telephone manner and appearance
  • Excellent spelling and grammar
  • Excellent time management
  • Willingness to support the office in whatever capacity required.

The salary for this position will be in the region of £18,000 to £23,000 depending on previous experience. The hours of work will be from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
