What do you do? I’m a Recruitment Consultant for Property Personnel.

How long have you worked at Property Personnel? I joined the team at the beginning of 2018.

What was property recruitment like when you first started, and has it changed? Having just recently joined Property Personnel, I’m new to property recruitment so I haven’t seen a change in the industry just yet.

What challenges do you face on a daily basis? The biggest challenge for me is finding quality candidates with a good attitude and focus.

What is the ideal candidate like? The ideal candidate is someone who is easily contactable and shows commitment. It’s always much easier to help someone who wants to help themselves.

What’s your favourite thing about your job? I love meeting and getting to know new people and then helping them find their dream job! As I deal with trainees and graduates, it’s very exciting placing someone right at the beginning of their career within the property sector.

How do you unwind after work? I love meeting my friends and catching up over dinner (and drinks) or going home to catch up on a good series!

What makes a good client? For me, a good client is easy to talk to and someone that you can build a trusting relationship with.

What makes a CV stand out for you? A well laid out CV that is informative but simple and easy to read.

What makes a CV go in the bin? A profile that indicates a focus on pursuing a job in a completely different industry!

If you could give one piece of advice to a candidate what would it be? Be as honest and transparent as you can. We’re here to help you and it makes it a lot easier when you’re completely truthful from the beginning!
