Property Personnel was established by its owner and managing director, Anthony Hesse, in 1988. Before this date, recruitment agencies specialising in estate agency simply didn’t exist. By breaking new ground, therefore, our objective was to provide a much-needed service that was to involve us becoming one of the most successful suppliers of quality staff to the residential estate agency industry.

As well as pioneering recruitment in residential estate agency within the UK, Property Personnel have always undoubtedly been a market leader in this field. Having now traded for over a quarter of a century, we literally know our industry ‘inside out’ and we are just as passionate about its future as we were the day we first opened our doors.

“What is frightening” says Anthony “is that we are regularly placing people in jobs who weren’t even born when we started up the business! We’ve experienced good and bad times, and seen some incredible changes in the business over the last 30 years, including several recessions and the rise and fall of many of the bank and building society owned agencies” adds Anthony.

We believe the secret of our success has been down to our honesty, integrity and professionalism, and to the consistency of this level of service that we have always provided to both our clients and our candidates alike, many of whom have remained loyal to us throughout the years. Added to that, we have a great team of people working here, without whom none of our success would have been possible. Indeed, Allison Dalrymple has worked with us for longer than the majority of our competitors have been in business, another testament to our level of expertise and knowledge within the industry.

In what has become an increasingly competitive market place, we continue to go from strength to strength. This is primarily, we believe, because we treat our clients and candidates alike in a way that we would like to be treated:
