Job Description

This leading property investment and development business is looking to recruit a Senior Lettings Negotiator to work in their Wembley Park development where the company delivers a superior rental product and service to tenants. Whilst the team’s primary focus is letting and managing apartments, working to minimise voids and maximise revenue, the successful candidate’s excellent interpersonal skills are imperative to deliver an exemplary and flexible attitude to service at all times. The letting team will be based on site and will look after the leasing process from viewing through to move out, using a superior software package to enhance their customers’ experience.

 

The key accountabilities of the role are:

  • Ensuring a smooth operation of the company enhancing the customer experience & converting applicants into tenants
  • To view apartments and close deals with customers
  • To work compliantly as per UK housing & lettings regulations
  • To work openly and collaboratively within the team to meet occupancy targets
  • Contribute to asset management and liaise with the main contractor and/or aftercare services for client’s property care on new build property where necessary
  • Deal with the renewal & move out process using the dedicated software system to execute
  • Work closely with the Lettings Manager to deliver a superior living experience
  • Strive to excel in the Customer Service Standards and creating opportunities
  • To contribute to other areas of the business as and when required
  • On occasion contribute to other parts of the Residential business as and when required
  • To display a flexible and co-operative attitude to residents and colleagues at all times
  • To contribute to and support any on-site resident events

General Accountabilities:

  • Undertake additional relevant duties which fall under the general scope of the role, as directed by your Manager, raising any issues with capacity so they can be properly managed
  • Participate in the full year and half year Performance Development Review process as reviewer and reviewee, meeting the standards and timescales required by the Company
  • At all times ensure that your understanding and skill level regarding the Company’s IT systems are up to date, as applicable to your role. Undertake IT training as required to ensure full and proper use of the available technology
  • Work within the Company’s policies and procedures, governance framework and standards, as detailed in the Company handbook
  • Remain knowledgeable about Group activities, benefiting from all forms of internal communication provided and acting as a positive ambassador for the Company at all times
  • Embrace the Company’s core values through demonstration of the Company behaviours
  • Use materials and resources effectively and efficiently to minimise waste and consider the impact of potential actions on the environment before taking business decisions

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • IT literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a customer facing role (minimum 1 year)

The salary on offer for this role will be in the region of £25,000 – £28,000 with the following benefits:

The company is happy to consider candidates with no previous experience, they simply want people who will be hungry to grow their career with their business. The working week will involve working 5 out of 7 days with a rota in place, but any team member should assume they are working Saturdays during peak busy periods. They expect team members to have a flexible attitude given this is a new business and they will be expecting certain peak periods due to sales completions.
