Job Description

This well established, privately owned estate agency has a well established office in Ealing, London W5. The directors of the firm are currently looking to recruit an ambitious Sales and Lettings Negotiator to work in their well located office in based just off The Broadway. The company is happy to consider candidates with no previous estate agency experience provided they have had some experience in a sales or customer facing role.

The role will involve a great deal of customer interaction, so you will need to have excellent people skills as you will be meeting and greeting applicants and registering prospective purchasers and tenants who you will be required to discuss potential properties with, and then accompany on viewings. You will also be actively involved in the negotiation process up to the sale or let.

In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent face to face customer service skills
  • The motivation to succeed
  • Previous sales experience and a sales focused mentality
  • Ability to show resilience and to make the most of any opportunity
  • Full driving licence and car essential

This excellent career opportunity will come with a basic salary of £12,000 to £18,000 depending on the level of experience, with an uncapped commission package giving the successful candidate the opportunity to realistically earn £25,000 to £30,000 in their first year. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm and Saturdays on a rota basis. When you work a Saturday you will get a day off in lieu during the week. They would prefer a car owner, but are prepared to make a pool car available. In this instance, however, to get insurance cover the driver will need to be over 25.
