This well-regarded, privately owned estate agency is currently looking to recruit a Property Manager to join their successful team based near Petersfield, Hampshire.

This role will involve managing a portfolio of roughly 50 properties throughout the local area. These properties are predominantly houses with above average rents so you will need to have the negotiation and communication skills to deal with this end of the market. Ideally you will have had a minimum of 12-24 months experience within a similar role, with previous country house rental experience a distinct advantage.

Part of your remit will be to carry out property inspections, and our client has stressed that they will only consider candidates that have done this in the past. You will also need to have superb organisational and customer service skills, the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Building a rapport and develop relationships with your clients
  • Pursuing and collecting rental payments from the tenants on behalf of the landlords
  • Managing minor repairs, refurbishment projects and insurance claims
  • Dilapidations: Dealing with end of tenancy procedures and tenancy settlements
  • Carrying out property visits

The basic salary on offer for this position will be c. £20-25,000. You will need to have a full driving license and a car as you will be expected to carry out property inspections. This is a Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5.30pm role.
