This leading independent Estate Agent with a large presence in south London is currently expanding its business with a number of new branch openings. As a consequence, the company is now recruiting for experienced Lettings Negotiators for several of their busy offices, including Crystal Palace, London SE19.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following performance indicators:

Skills and knowledge:

  • NFOPP – Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management or equivalent ( preferred not essential)
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues & clients
  • Capable of working to strict timetable, targets & goals
  • Computer literacy & proficiency
  • Identify areas of growth & implement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow volume of new lettings business and income production to the branch
  • Accountable quality of customer care
  • Treating the customer fairly in accordance with the company’s service standards
  • Meet target set by line manager and report weekly statistics to line manager
  • Register , qualify and manage applicants in accordance with company set procedures
  • Arrange and conduct viewing appointments and secure property lets
  • Ensure properties are relevant & appropriate for applicants needs
  • Work pro-actively to ensure all properties are exposed to the maximum amount of applicants
  • Identify other potential business opportunities and ensure referral to the appropriate division
  • To work in accordance with all legal obligations without exception
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of available properties being marketed in branch and throughout network
  • To deliver canvassing material to the local area daily in accordance with instructions from line manager

This exciting opportunity will come with a basic salary in the region of £16,000 and a highly incentivised commission package giving on target earnings of £45,000 to £65,000.
