Job Description

This highly regarded independent estate agency has a small yet successful network of offices in north London. They are currently looking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator to join their high team in either their Finchley or Mill office.

Whilst the company would look at an individual with a minimum of 6 – 12 months experience, they are equally as happy to consider an exceptional trainee, someone with no previous estate agency experience. To be in this category, it is likely that you will have worked in a sales, or customer facing environment previously and that you will have excellent people skills.

Working alongside the Lettings Manager and another negotiator you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Registering potential tenants and qualifying their needs
  • Advising potential tenants immediately a new property comes on the market
  • Accompanying these applicants on viewings
  • Gaining feedback following viewings and liaising with both landlords and tenants
  • Negotiating terms between the Landlord & Tenant
  • Liaising with Inventory Clerks, Relocation Agents and Contractors.

Our client is looking to recruit an efficient, proactive and conscientious individual and in return for your hard work and achievements you will have fantastic earning potential, with a basic salary of c. £13-15,000 and personal commission on a sliding scale of between 10 and 15%, along with a car allowance, parking permit and a mobile phone.  The hours worked are 9.30am to 7.00pm Monday to Thursday, till 6pm every Friday, and 10.00am to 2.00pm every Saturday, with a half day given in lieu.
